All About the Fitness Trainer the RHONY Women Wanted to Flirt With
Ubah Hsassan said she had no desire to work out until meeting personal trainer David Nso, "the hottest man in the world."
The Real Housewives of New York City ladies were pretty smitten by Erin Lichy’s personal trainer, and there’s a good possibility you might have seen him before.
Who Is Erin Lichy's Trainer David Nso?
In RHONY Season 14, Episode 3, the women woke up bright-eyed and bushy-tailed to embark on a personal training sesh at Erin's Sag Harbor home in the Hamptons. There to meet them was David Nso, who immediately grabbed the attention of Ubah Hassan.
“David is so hot, he’s gorgeous,” said Ubah.
Both quickly hugged it out before discussing their shared formula for fitness, which they said consisted of 80 percent diet, 20 percent exercise, and 100 percent mindset.
Erin egged the pair on as Ubah jokingly fell into Nso’s arms.
“I never wanted to work out so hard in my life,” Ubah continued, telling producers she couldn’t remember the last time she exercised.
When Brynn Whitfield arrived (fashionably late), she also started flirting with Nso, explaining she's met him before — and basically agrees with Ubah's sentiments.
The Cameroon-born instructor is well-known in the area for being the personal trainer to many clients in the Hamptons and New York City. According to his Instagram page, Nso was featured in an episode of USA Network's Selling the Hamptons, and per his bio, he also had a part in the hit series The Wire.
Nso moved to America as a young adult, where he pursued an economics degree at the University of Maryland, according to a 2021 profile in New York Weekly. Nso said he believed he was on the right path but “quickly discovered his interest in fashion and athletics far outweighed his interest in economics,” according to his bio.
Taking the less-beaten path wasn’t always easy. At one point, Nso lost everything and had no choice but to sleep in a gym, according to New York Weekly. Nso spent years as a model and aspiring actor before moving into his “true passion” as a fitness coach, eventually founding NsoXperience in 2019.
He also created NSO New York, blending his love for fashion with his fitness business by creating a line of leather sneakers stamped with his surname on the soles. Proceeds go to the NSO Inspired Foundation, Nso’s organization to assist “underserved communities in Cameroon through health, wellness, and fitness,” according to his Linkedin page.
Nso keeps super busy on his Instagram, posting his health tips and New York-based adventures. Ice baths, boot camps, and scenic beach workouts are just some of what Nso has shared.
Yes, Ubah, he makes all of us want to work out, too.
