All the New York Housewives Are Doing Zoom Calls Together During Their Self-Quarantine
The RHONY cast found the perfect way to keep in touch.
The Real Housewives of New York City cast has been adapting to self-isolation lately, but that didn't stop them from catching up with each other. The cast members have been holding Zoom calls together to keep in touch amid the coronavirus (CODVID-19) crisis.
Dorinda Medley posted a photo of herself chatting with her fellow 'Wives, Leah McSweeney, Ramona Singer, and Luann de Lesseps right before RHONY Season 12 premiered. Apparently, the New York ladies have been scheduling calls just to check in and talk to each other for a while during self-quarantine. And based on Dorinda's caption, "#premiereprepping," the ladies were probably getting each other psyched up for the first episode too.
In an interview with ExtraTV, Luann said, "I've been talking to the housewives. We've been Zooming together. Yesterday, we had a call, which was great. You know, thank God we have that so we can see each other and feel like we can communicate still."
The cabaret star added that she and the ladies were dying of laughter after seeing that everyone was "hunkered down" in their homes except Ramona, who was on the beach in a bikini during the call.
Speaking of Ramona, she appeared on a recent episode of the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show and told host Andy Cohen and fellow guests, Kyle Richards, Melissa Gorga, and Joe Gorga, about her Zoom chats with the RHONY ladies as well.
She said that she was in touch with "all of them." adding, "Even if we have a tough season, we all end up talking after. So, I always end up talking to every single housewife. We actually now have a group text and next, we're going to be doing a call at 5 o'clock. All of us."
Ramona explained that the video calls are "for fun! We want to catch up with each other. 5 o'clock, we're doing Zoom."
Who knows, maybe they'll try out some of these custom Bravo backgrounds during their next Zoom call together.
