"In honor of [Women's History Month] and [International Women's Day] (today) I cannot express how proud, honored and HUMBLED I am to be in the company of Black women who have inspired not only me, but entire generations of music lovers with their artistry, grit and sheer talent," Candiace wrote in the caption of her March 8 post, which featured the announcement of the "Femme It Forward" concert tour with the lineup including Faith Evans, SWV, Mya, and 702.

She went on to add, "My first official tour kicks off this weekend (CT Friday, DC Saturday) where I will be opening for women who have laid the groundwork for what all female R&B artists are able to do today. [Mya], [SWV], [702], and [Faith Evans], HAPPY International Women’s Day! And a very special happy International Women’s Day to my mama, my aunties, my sister, my sister friends and to every woman who has ever dared to be audacious. We run boardrooms, classrooms, our homes and everything in between. I see you, I see us — and I salute us all."

Candiace also shared some fun behind-the-scenes moments from one of the concert performances at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut and expressed her excitement for the upcoming shows. "Incredibly excited to open for these R&B legends tomorrow at [MGM National Harbor] for 'Femme It Forward' presented by [Live Nation Concerts]!" she wrote in the caption of her March 12 Instagram post.

Several Bravolebs celebrated Candiace's big news in the comments, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Cynthia Bailey, posting a series of clapping hands emojis, while The Real Housewives of Orange County's Tamra Judge also commented with fire emojis.

Candiace gave another glimpse from the tour with a video she posted on Instagram from backstage, writing in the caption, "Back stage at 'Femme It Forward' in CT!!!"

This isn't the only exciting news Candiace has shared related to her musical career in recent months. Last month, Candiace marked a milestone achievement on Instagram.

"Woke up to some AMAZING news! My debut single 'Drive Back' has hit well over a million streams," she shared in her February 8 post. "NONE of this would be possible without all of you. Trust me when I say this is only the beginning!"

She also shared more updates about her 2021 album release, Deep Space, noting, "Is it…enough for you? [Deep Space] is available (now at over 2 million streams and counting) on all streaming platforms."
