On the Season 7 finale of The Real Housewives of PotomacCandiace Dillard Bassett hosted a splashy music video premiere party. Before she cued up the visual, the former Miss Universe gave a shout-out to rapper Trina. “I am going to present the world premiere of the visual ‘Insecure,’ featuring Trina, the baddest bitch,” the singer shared. But Candiace’s “bad” collaborations don’t stop there.

In an interview with Variety, the multi-hyphenate shared that she’s playing the lead role in a forthcoming film. Candiace didn’t name names but hinted that her co-star is “someone that everybody knows.” Who could it be!?

While we scratch our heads, we can rest assured that she’ll pull off her own role with aplomb. After all, Candiace’s new film will hardly mark the first time she’s slayed a script.

Last fall, she took to Instagram to share some major news. “Surprise! Check out the trailer for my scripted series HUSH,” she wrote on November 17. In the drama series on AMC’s AllBlk streaming service, Candiace plays Syleena Gibson. According to an AMC press release, the character is “a trophy wife” with a “spicy” personality.

Before Hush, Candiace appeared in the award-winning independent film Water in a Broken Glass. She also acted alongside Tia Mowry in the sitcom Family Reunion
