Their rift began on the cast trip to Arizona, and while Heather ultimately apologized for her part, Whitney called the apology insincere. Asked how she felt about this on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Heather said, "It makes me sad. It's absolutely sincere and I feel horrible about the state of our relationship."

"I am trying desperately to be supportive, but also stand my ground a little bit," she added. "And it's just kind of a hard path to walk."

Continuing to talk about the falling out, Heather said she "totally regret[s]" telling Whitney that she was making the Arizona trip all about her when she had just been so vulnerable. "I just felt really mean," Heather explained. "Seeing it play back and seeing how raw she was and seeing that she was conflating the two issues — I was really clear about what I was upset about it but it was muddled for her. And I feel terrible that she thought I was not being sensitive to her pain."

Is Whitney Rose Lying, or Is Heather Gay Covering Something Up?

Actress Leslie Grossman appeared alongside Heather on WWHL, and she made sure to give her take on the matter because she has "very strong opinions."

"While I absolutely admire Whitney's healing journey and I am all here for it, I think that sometimes there's collateral damage, and I feel like this one has been collateral damage in this," Leslie said, pointing to Heather before telling her, "I think you're a fantastic friend and also the most genuine Housewife of any of the franchises. And always my favorite."
