After That Hot-Mic Moment, Here’s Where Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow Stand Going into Season 3 of RHOSLC
Get a first look at the drama set to go down during the September 28 premiere of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City right now.
It was the hot-mic moment that shifted the longtime relationship between Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow. That Season 2 moment has definitely reverberated, and the ladies are still feeling emotional about it in a first look at the upcoming Season 3 premiere, above.
With their friendship still strained, each of the ladies is leaning on some unexpected members of their friend group for guidance.
During a day out at the spa, Meredith admits that she hasn’t fully recovered from the moment while talking to Jen Shah. “It’s a process and I’m still dealing with it in a lot of ways and I’m sure I will be for a while,” she says. Meanwhile, when meeting Heather Gay for lunch, Lisa reveals how she’s feeling today: “For me, it’s very uncomfortable to say this, but I need some help with Meredith… I need your advice. I need help.”
From there, the two ladies reflect on that moment as Heather advises her that she needs to “make it right.”

A press release for the new season of RHOSLC hinted at the issues the two ladies will be dealing with:
“Still dealing with the hurt that came from Lisa’s salacious rant, Meredith Marks is standing by her new, unexpected support system and is leaving friends-turned-foes in the past,” according to the press release. “Although tensions in the group are bubbling over, Meredith is focusing her energy on causes close to her heart as she hosts a fashion show to raise awareness around mental health.”
The press release adds: “After a hot-mic moment landed her in hot water, Lisa Barlow’s relationship with one of her dearest friends is changed forever. Despite many of her friendships hanging in the balance, she finds an implausible ally in the group of women. As unflattering rumors about Lisa fly around Salt Lake, she turns her attention to focus on her husband, her children, and her business.”
