Are Seth Marks and John Barlow Still Friends After Lisa’s Hot Mic Moment? It’s Complicated

There’s no doubt that Lisa Barlow’s infamous hot mic moment on Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fractured her friendship with Meredith Marks. But can the same be said for their husbands?
One curious fan asked Meredith herself this question on the November 3 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. More specifically, they asked, “Was Seth [Marks] able to keep the job of being friends with John Barlow after the hot mic moment?”
“Of course,” Meredith responded. “I mean, I have never, ever, ever tried to dictate who should and should not be friends. Ever.”
Andy, meanwhile, had a counterargument. “It would make sense, though, if your former, very dear friend trashed you and torched you, that maybe he would say, ‘I'm not gonna f--k with this anymore.’”
“Correct,” Meredith replied, “but I’m not gonna be the one saying, ‘You can’t be friends.’ I would never do that. That’s just not my vibe.”
Returning to the original question — whether or not Seth and John are indeed “still friends” — Meredith said, “I guess. I mean, we have not spent time with the Barlows, but there’s no problem there that I’m aware of on our side.”
“Do they golf?” Andy asked, to which Meredith responded, “Not any time recently.”
In that case, Andy concluded, “They’re not friends.”
