Rhylee Gerber Has Something to Say about Her Attitude with Chandler Brooks on Below Deck

The Season 6 deckhand has some surprising thoughts on her temper aboard the M/Y Seanna.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Chandler Brooks and Rhylee Gerber haven't exactly gotten along this season of Below Deck. Come to think of it, it seems like we've only really seen them butt heads so far.

How to Watch

Watch Below Deck on Bravo Mondays at 9/8c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

But their drama really came to a head in Tuesday night's episode of Below Deck after Rhylee accused Chandler of speaking to her in a condescending manner. Lots of shouting and finger-pointing ensued.

Captain Lee Rosbach didn't like what he saw as he watched the episode on Tuesday night. "@rhylee_gerber right or wrong isn't important at that specific point in time," he tweeted. "You need to pick the right time for your battles, not just when you [lose] control. At that point, being right, doesn't help you at all. Wrong place, wrong time to [lose] control."

After having some time to reflect on the season, Rhylee admitted on Twitter that she agreed with Captain Lee that "everything about that situation was wrong." "I’m the first to admit I have a temper," she shared. "I’m entirely grateful for the entire experience of #belowdeck and I’d hate to be [the one] in my own way of growth!"

Rhylee added in another tweet, "In no way do I think I handled myself properly."

She also shared, "I’ve def been working on my patience since."

Rhylee shared a theory about the source of her tension with Chandler in the latest installment of the Below Deck After Show, which you can check out, above. "With Chandler, our recurring problem, at least on my end, is the way he speaks to me. The way he doesn't take the time to guide me. I can sit there and say that I've done something on one boat all day long. It doesn't mean it's the same," she explained. "If I've never been in that situation, it would be stupid of me not to ask questions. And maybe there's a time and a place for it, but that time and that place was never given to me."
