When Juan Dixon proposed to Robyn Dixon in December 2019 after their divorce in 2012, The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member said their engagement was “definitely much sweeter the second time around.” So, what do their sons, Corey and Carter, think of having their parents back together? Robyn explained her children’s reaction to the news on the August 15 episode of The Daily Dish podcast, which you can listen to, below.

Robyn noted that because she and Juan continued to live together after their divorce, the engagement didn’t faze them much.

“You know what? Just us being together is so normal to them. I mean, they didn’t know, like, the intricacies of the status of our relationship or what we were doing. All they knew is they saw their parents living together in the same house and functioning as a family. For them, it’s kind of like, expected. It’s, like, not a big deal for them. It’s like, ‘Okay, well, what else would you be doing?’” said Robyn. “I’m sure once the wedding comes, they’ll be involved and all that. I’m sure they’ll be excited and proud and happy, and maybe it’ll mean a little bit more to them then,”

There’s one other thing regarding her future wedding that Robyn is also pretty certain about: that it’s going to be an amazing party.

“That’s the one thing about weddings. Like, they just have to be fun. I’ve been to a boring wedding before and I was like, you made me suffer through a boring wedding. I hope your marriage lasts forever, ‘cause that was like, oh,” said Robyn. “And of course, the marriage did not last.”
