Robyn Dixon Addresses Why She Didn’t Invite Wendy Osefo’s Kids to Family Fun Day
Robyn addressed why she excluded Wendy and her kids from her Family Fun Day event: “I’m a human being.”
The fallout from Family Fun Day on The Real Housewives of Potomac is anything but a good time.
On the October 23 episode, Robyn Dixon invited all the ladies — except Dr. Wendy Osefo — and their kids to play games outside together for a Family Fun Day.
While Robyn later amended her exclusion list by saying that Wendy’s three kids — Karter, Kruz, and Kamrynn Osefo — could attend with Candiace Dillard Bassett, the Onyi Home Essentials creator declined the invitation.
At the event itself, Karen Huger told Robyn that it was “not OK” to leave Wendy and her children out of a kid-focused day. During an appearance on the Reality & Comics Too podcast, Robyn shared that she also got a lot of backlash on social media.
Robyn recognized that it was “not a good look” to keep Wendy’s kids off the guest list, but that it was a reflection of how she was feeling at the time.
“Guess what? I’m a human being… If I’m literally in an argument with someone, I’m not speaking to you,” she said on the podcast. “Like, that’s human nature, and I want to know what person in their right mind would turn around to a person and go, ‘Oh, would you like to come to family day?’”
Robyn added that she had “all these people messaging” her to say she was “horrible” and “the kids are off-limits.”
“Yeah, but their mom is not,” she continued. “Sorry.”
