Sam Feher Shares Her Big "Regret" About Breaking Up with Kory Keefer

Although her relationship with Kory Keefer lasted a little over a year, Samantha “Sam” Feher admits it should’ve ended much sooner. 

The Summer House beauty explained her position via Instagram on Thursday (March 14), roughly three months after splitting from her former castmate. Although Sam suggested she has since moved on, she spoke candidly about the romance during a Q&A session with fans, one of whom asked if she had any regrets about leaving Kory.

“I say this in the least disrespectful way possible: I regret not doing it earlier,” she said about the breakup. “I wasn’t getting what I needed or deserved out of that relationship. I was starting to believe that I didn’t deserve better or that I wasn’t worth more. And the only thing that I regret is not doing it sooner. It’s time to remember that I deserve better and that I’m worth more.”

Sam also told fans that Kory was a “great guy,” but she was confident in her decision.

Sam and Kory first met while filming Summer House Season 7 and went Instagram official in 2022. While it was clear that the Bravolebs were an item, their relationship status wasn’t quite clear. Kory addressed the matter on Winter House Season 3 Episode 2, saying he and Sam were “dating” but not quite “exclusive.”

Sam said Kory’s Winter House comments caused some friction within their relationship and played a role in their breakup. Other factors included his flirtatious exchanges with Malia White and Jordan Emanuel, as well as his refusal to say, “I love you.”

“I had said [‘I love you’] to him and he never said it to me,” Sam said during the Winter House Season 3 reunion. “He didn’t say it back when I said it and he then he never said it for the rest of the relationship. And that was really a big problem for me. I was like, ‘I think I need to get out.’”

She continued: “I didn’t break up with him because I don’t love him; I broke up with him because he doesn’t love me. And that’s that.”

So, is Sam open to finding love again? It definitely looks that way.

“I am going on dates, in general, yeah,” she said during the Q&A. “I’m not in a relationship. I’m on the other side of that spectrum. But it’s fun. I forgot it’s fun. I love a first date, y’all. I love to talk, I love to learn about someone, even if it doesn’t go anywhere. I always have fun on a first date… So, if you haven’t started dating yet after a breakup, maybe this is your sign.”
