Sarah Michelle Gellar Hanging with Britney Spears Is the Stuff Our '90s It Girl Dreams Are Made Of
The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star talked about her love for the singer.
We don't know what you took away from Lifetime's recent Britney Spears biopic Britney Ever After, but some people walked away satisfied knowing that the singer partied at some point with fellow '90s It girl, Sarah Michelle Gellar. The very thought of the singer hanging with the Buffy the Vampire Slayer star leaves us with all kinds of FOMO for not having been in the very same room. Turns out, Sarah Michelle also found that tidbit from the flick to be rather, well, interesting.
"You know, after watching it — I was live tweeting it, I was — I think she said Puffy not Buffy," SMG shared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Tuesday, sharing she came to that conclusion "after watching it maybe a second time, or maybe just that scene."
Still, SMG did 'fess up to having raised a roof or two alongside Brit back in the day. "I mean define 'party' — a few [times] here and there [we hung out]," she said. "She's lovely."
We did find one instance of the ladies together — at the Teen Choice Awards back in 1999.
