Scheana Shay Says She'll "Always Remain Friends" with Mike Shay Following Divorce News

Following the announcement that she and Mike Shay planned to divorce after two years of marriage, Scheana Shay took to Twitter to show her gratitude toward fans for showing their support during this difficult time. Scheana also made it clear that she has no ill will toward Mike as they move forward with their lives. "Thank you all for the love today!" Scheana tweeted Wednesday. "It's never easy to split with someone you still love, but we will always remain friends."

The Vanderpump Rules couple expressed a similar sentiment in a joint statement confirming their divorce to The Daily Dish Wednesday. “While we have made the difficult decision to move forward separately, our story will continue on through the love and mutual respect that we have cultivated throughout our 15-year friendship. Much of the recent speculation and reporting on our relationship has been misguided, and we have come to an amicable decision on all matters,” they said. “We might have failed at our marriage, but we are committed to succeeding as friends and will continue to support each other’s personal happiness and professional success." 

The couple's 2014 wedding ceremony was captured in Season 3 of Vanderpump Rules. The series has followed the highs and lows of their relationship, from their engagement to dealing with Mike's substance abuse issues last season. Check out throwback photos of the couple, below.
