Scheana Shay Reacts To Baby Reveal

Following the exciting announcement that she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Brock Davies, Scheana Shay is not letting anyone rain on her parade. The Vanderpump Rules mom-to-be recently clapped back at some criticism she received of her pregnancy announcement and the party she held to reveal the sex of her baby

Scheana first addressed the criticism after sharing a vlog in which she captured some footage from the reveal party, and teased the sex of the baby, noting that she will announce on November 11. In a November 4 tweet, she wrote, “It’s amazing to me how many people have opinions on how and when I should be announcing my pregnancy and revealing the sex…”

In response to a Twitter user who suggested the feedback regarding her pregnancy announcement was “because you had a recent miscarriage…and the rule of thumb is that you announce after about 4 or 5 months,” Scheana wrote, “There is no RULE. I announced when my doctor felt I was in the safe zone. All genetics were tested and cleared. And I’ve had 4 ultrasounds.”

Another follower said, “I wish the haters would leave you alone,” to which Scheana replied, “Me too!! Everyone saying I got pregnant bc other girls on the show are? It’s disgusting. I don’t see things as a competition like some of them do. I was pregnant back in May, but it sadly didn’t work out. I’ve wanted this for so long. Didn’t freeze my eggs for fun lol.”

In another tweet, she added, “Babies are miracles! Especially after my fertility journey…I didn’t think this was ever possible!”

Scheana has even received criticism for the way she decided to pose in photos at the party, and opened up about it in response to a follower commented on the below Instagram post to say, "Girl I was sooo tiny just like you! I am sure you will get the neg comments about how you are too little. Don't listen!"

"People are like, 'Don't put your hand there, you're not showing,' and I thought the same thing but I'm like, 'So where should I put my hand now?' Lol," Scheana wrote. "Hip doesn't feel right and I always hate a dead arm."

In response to the negative comments, Scheana has even toyed with the idea of taking a social media break once she welcomes her bundle of joy in April. After a follower told her to "buckle up" because "it will only get worse once you have the baby," she mentioned, "Girl I can’t even imagine. I think I may delete social media for a bit then lol”
