The Real Housewives of Miami mom kicked off the weekend by congratulating her youngest son, Justin Pippen, on his commitment to the Univerity of Michigan. Justin expanded on his pick during an interview with ESPN, saying he chose Michigan over a handful of other top-tier schools, including Georgia Tech, Stanford, and Texas A&M.
“I like the feel of the campus and school. I wanted to be at a big school,” he told the outlet. “I was really going to make a decision between my other schools. Then I got a call from Coach Dusty May. I wanted to give him a chance. We set up a Zoom call. I went on a visit and I felt it was the right place and situation for me. Coach Dusty May has been straight up with me. He sees me playing both on and off the ball.”

Larsa and Scottie tied the knot in 1997 and went on to welcome four children together, including their second-oldest son, Preston Pippen, and their daughter, Sophia Pippen. After several separations and reconciliations, Larsa and Scottie finalized their divorce in 2021.
The Miami mom spoke about the split during RHOM Season 6, saying she felt “trapped” while married to the NBA legend.
“There’s nothing worse than being in a relationship where you can’t leave because you are financially stuck because of your partner,” she said in an episode interview. “That’s like, the worst.”

“I think when you’re alone, you kind of either miss the person or realize maybe you’re not my guy,” she said during an appearance on the Amy and T.J. podcast. “And I feel like that made me realize that I don’t think he’s my guy… I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing, and what he’s doing, you know? I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me.”
