Sesame Street Parodied The Real Housewives and It Is Absolutely Perfect

You need to see all the drama that unfolds at "FUR Lounge."

By Laura Rosenfeld

Who knew The Real Housewives could be so educational? Well, they're now molding our nation's young minds with valuable lessons about the importance of sharing by way of a new Sesame Street parody.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Yes, the beloved children's show has just introduced us to The Real Grouches of Sesame Street, featuring Oscar, Grundgetta, and Diva Garbagedump, who has an adorable animal companion and owns a restaurant called FUR Lounge. Hmmmm, that sounds a little familiar, doesn't it?

The Real Grouches share so many similarities with The Real Housewives, you're not going to be able to contain your laughter over how clever this parody is. They have their own taglines, such as Oscar's, "I have a taste for trash, and trash has a taste for me" and Grundgetta's, "I'm a mystery wrapped in fish and trash," both of which are a play on Sonja Morgan and Erika Girardi's past taglines, respectively. They have singles ("Grouchy for the Party," "Money Can't Buy You Trash," and "Pretty Messy") and side hustles (a cookbook and a line of can openers). They even have interviews and reunions.

The Real Grouches even has Andy Cohen's seal of approval.

Fingers crossed that this won't be the last we see of The Real Grouches.

For now, see what's in store for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in Part 3 of the reunion on Tuesday at 9/8c, below.
