Pregnant Mercedes "MJ" Javid Reveals If She’s Still on Bed Rest
The Shahs of Sunset mommy-to-be shared more details about her condition.
Mercedes “MJ” Javid will soon be having a baby with husband Tommy Feight — but the path hasn’t been easy for the Shahs of Sunset newlywed. Despite her fairytale romance and wedding, MJ has been very vocal about how difficult it’s been for her to conceive, as well as about her experiences with IVF.
And just recently, we learned of yet another issue the mama-to-be is facing: On Tommy’s birthday on December 29, she posted an adorable picture of the two, wishing him a happy birthday and telling him just how much he means to her. But she also revealed that she was on mandatory bed rest: “Today his birthday might suck as I am on mandatory bed rest but he assures me that so long as we are together that’s the only place he wants to be,” she wrote.
MJ shared a bit more about her condition when she engaged with a tweet by Chrissy Teigen. The model mama wrote that she'd been feeling “weird" lately, and asked: “Has anyone else felt like today has been extremely weird? very...off? like the energy of the sky and earth were...different? have I been in LA too long? perhaps. need to charge my crystals in the moonlight.”
To this, MJ replied, “I’m on bedrest for a few months, so a lot of days will feel like purgatory.”
This timeline suggests she could remain on bed rest for the duration of her pregnancy — since we know she's due in April (Mother’s Day, to be exact!).
Here’s hoping the soon-to-be mom has a safe, successful remainder of her pregnancy.
