Shahs of Sunset Returns This May: Check Out the Jaw-Dropping Trailer
Shahs of Sunset will feature new faces and new drama in the upcoming Season 9.
Prepare to pick your jaw up off the floor. Shahs of Sunset returns for Season 9 on Sunday, May 16 at 8/7c, and we've got your first look at the wild new trailer, above.
Reza Farahan, Mercedes "MJ" Javid, Mike Shouhed, Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi, Destiney Rose, and Nema Vand will all be back for more Shah-nanigans, along with new friend London Laed. London, who will be introduced to the group by MJ and works as a life coach, will be a welcome addition as her pep talks help the Shahs squad through difficult situations.
This season is going to kick off in a hopeful place with Reza and MJ committed to getting their longtime friendship back on track after their falling out last season. GG even seems to be "getting along with everybody," as she notes in the Season 9 trailer, with MJ remarking, "When did Golnesa become the voice of reason?" MJ and GG seem to put their past conflict on pause, thanks to an adorable playdate with their sons, according to the trailer.
Unfortunately, as the Shahs crew works toward squashing old beefs, new ones will be ignited. Many of the Shahs will find themselves at odds throughout the season, including Mike, whose relationship with Paulina Ben-Cohen will be put to the test.
With over-the-top parties, incredible outfits, and no shortage of Shah-cking moments, this season of Shahs of Sunset promises to be like no other.
