Marlo Hampton thinks of herself as the fashionista of The Real Housewives of Atlanta crew, but one RHOA newbie begs to differ. Perhaps it all started when Marlo offered to give newcomer Shamari DeVoe a makeover — which Shamari predictably did not appreciate — and then everything came to a boiling point (clip above). Well, when discussing Marlo's style on The Daily Dish podcast, Shamari had some choice words — and she definitely didn't hold back.
"If 'fashionable' is using other people's credit cards to pay for fashions that you can't afford, then yeah, she's definitely fashionable," Shamari said. But the shade didn't stop there. Shamari had this life advice for Marlo: "Stop using labels to cover up your insecurities." Mic drop.
And speaking of shade, Shamari said she definitely encountered some when she joined this group of Atlanta ladies. She also shared some of her first impressions of everyone, as well as which alums she's met, in the podcast episode above. And make sure to catch Shamari on RHOA every Sunday at 8/7c.
