The Real Housewives of Atlanta friend took to Instagram this week to provide a promising update on her infant daughter, Shiloh. Shamea confirmed her child had been discharged from Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, where she was receiving months-long treatment for breathing issues.

“Guess who’s home?!? [Shiloh]. She was just discharged and she’s settling in quite nicely,” Shamea wrote in an Aug. 17 post. “I’ve gotta give God the praise. He shows up every single time and so do y’all! Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU for always keeping my family lifted in prayer. I appreciate y’all so much. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.”

The video began with an adorable shot of the infant as she and her family prepared to leave the medical facility. It then showed the baby's car ride home, where she eventually settled into her all-pink bedroom.

“[Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta] has the best staff!,” Shamea continued. “From the nurses to the doctors to the family experience, they are AMAZING.”

Shamea Morton shares her newborn's health journey

Shamea and her husband, Gerald Mwangi, welcomed Shiloh back in February — about three months after announcing they were expecting a second child. Shortly after the arrival, Shamea took to Instagram to provide a heartbreaking update on the newborn, which was born on Valentine's Day via surrogacy.

“She weighed 6 lbs 8 ounces and she was 18.5 inches. She was a nice size preemie!” Shamea wrote. “She def didn’t miss a meal. I cut the umbilical cord and we got a faint cry so we thought everything was fine. Moments later she began to struggle to breathe. The doctors immediately began to work on her but she eventually had to be put on 100% oxygen. I’ve been a mess, heart palpitations, anxiety etc… but Shiloh is a fighter.”

Shamea Morton and Kandi Burruss shared the same surrogate

At the time of Shiloh's birth announcement, Shamea provided a positive update on her surrogate, Shadina Blunt, who also carried Kandi and Todd Tucker’s youngest child, Blaze Tucker. Kandi reflected on her and Shamea’s bond in a Nov. 30 Instagram post, just weeks after Shamea confirmed the pregnancy.

“My girl [Shamea Morton and] I share a bond nobody can break! We got a lot to celebrate. [Porsha] just got married [and] Shamea has a baby on the way via surrogate!” Kandi wrote. “[Shadina Blunt] is carrying [Shamea’s] bundle of joy [and] we’re all excited! Blessings on blessings on blessings!”
