Shannon Beador Reveals the Hardest Part About Shooting Season 13 of RHOC
The O.C. housewife reveals the exact moment she felt “ganged up on.”
Season 13 of The Real Housewives of Orange County has had its fair share of drama, and it’s time for the ladies to tell all. Part 1 of the Reunion showed us that Shannon Beador and BFF Tamra Judge still have some differences to work through, and as their screaming match during the Jamaica trip indicated, there was so much more than meets the eye. As Shannon was going through a divorce with ex David Beador, she found it hard to shoot Season 13 of the show, which she elaborated on in an exclusive video to Bravotv.com.
In a mid-reunion interview, Shannon explained that the hardest part of the Jamaica trip was actually the fact that she believed the ladies were “questioning [her] mental state,” because she was so emotional. As we saw during the Jamaica trip, Tamra tried to tell her to “lighten up,” which led to Shannon trying to justify her feelings in a dramatic confrontation. “I am entitled to feel whatever I’ve been feeling!” shouted Shannon in tears. In fact, the argument got so heated, the ladies suggested Shannon go on medication in order to deal with everything, which hurt her feelings.
“I was six months into a separation that was incredibly nasty, and those were difficult and dark times,” Shannon explained in the interview. “That being said, I had a lot of good things that were going on in my life, and if you react or yell the way I did in Jamaica, I don’t know… I felt ganged up on.” But is there hope for the Housewives yet? Maybe.
Shannon revealed that she has since made improvements by going to therapy and processing her emotions. “I continually want to improve,” she says, which is admirable feat, especially after everything she’s gone through.
