Though that was an incredibly emotional experience for Shannon, she recently told The Daily Dish that that moment helped to push her to do something about her body. "Taking my shirt off and showing people the weight that I've gained has been nothing but a motivator to me and that, coupled with the fact that my trainer informed me that my body fat percentage was basically putting me in the ticking time bomb area where I could have a heart attack or diabetes or that sort of thing, I mean, it was a wakeup call for me," Shannon explained. "So I've been working at it."
