Shannon Storms Beador Reveals She and John Janssen Have “Reconnected”
The RHOC cast member also opened up about the initial aftermath of their breakup.
Shannon Storms Beador and John Janssen broke up last year, but it’s safe to say they did not leave their relationship in 2022.
The exes have recently been spotted together on several occasions, and so far, Shannon has given various explanations for how she went from saying she was “blindsided” by the breakup and “couldn’t stop crying” to inviting John to dinners as well as her Tres Amigas live shows.
However, The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member set the record straight during her July 21 appearance on Jeff Lewis’ SiriusXM radio show.
Shannon Storms Beador and John Janssen’s Current Status
Jeff cut to the chase during the interview, asking Shannon point-blank, “Are you dating? Are you together? Are you just friends? Are you just hooking up?”
Shannon’s response? “We’re not back together, but we have spent quite a bit of time together in the last couple months. We see each other often.”
Jeff continued to ask questions, and while Shannon didn’t go into detail about the current status of her and John’s relationship, she did open up about the six-month period in which they were broken up and started seeing other people. “John and I both, we dated, but neither of us have been intimate with anybody other than each other,” Shannon said, also clarifying that she and John “have not hooked up for a long time,” either.
What’s more, Shannon said that in the months immediately following their split, she and John “never spoke.”
“[I] didn’t see him or speak to him, never ran into him,” she said. “It was odd.”
How did Shannon Storms Beador and John Janssen reconnect?
According to Shannon, she and John “spoke on the phone and decided to have dinner” after she stopped seeing the man who traveled with her to Mexico back in April.
As she put it, “I had that brief relationship with that other person, then when that ended, you know, then we talked.”
Jeff Lewis’ Opinion on Shannon Storms Beador and John Janssen’s Relationship
Amid Jeff’s questioning, Shannon asked for his thoughts on her and John, to which he responded, “I like John Janssen. I always have. I think that he really cares for you… [and] I mean, from what I’ve witnessed, he treats you really well. He’s very sweet with you, and he clearly cares about you. I don’t have anything negative to say.”
Responded Shannon, “That’s nice.”
