Shep Rose Reveals the Secret Project He Worked on During His COVID-19 Self-Quarantine
The Southern Charm cast member is adding a new title to his resume.
Shep Rose put his time in self-quarantine to good use. The Southern Charm cast member recently revealed that he wrote his first book while spending time at home during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
As he confirmed in a recent Instagram post, Shep, who owns a clothing line called Shep Gear and has invested in several bars in the Charleston area, can now add the title of author to his resume. On December 3, the Southern Charm-er shared a first look at the official cover for his upcoming book, Average Expectations: Lessons in Lowering the Bar.
“I am a big fan of literature and reading in general. So when @gallerybooks and @wmebooks came to me asking if I wanted to write and that they’d actually publish it, I took the leap,” he wrote in the caption. “After all, I have a lot to say and crazy stories from far away places to share. And I needed to put it on paper before senility sets in.”
Shep went on to explain, “It seemed a Herculean task but then as fate would have it, the pandemic hit. And if you can’t write a book during the times of Covid you were never going to anyways. So here it is, (the title is a wink at Dickens) — Average Expectations: Lessons in Lowering the Bar.”
