Shereé Whitfield Shares an Interesting Update on Her Relationship with Martell Holt

Shereé Whitfield debuted her relationship with Martell Holt on the Season 15 premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, but where does the pair stand today? She answered that exact question on the June 11 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
Shereé and Martell's Current Relationship Status
The topic of the two arose after Andy Cohen asked for an update on Martell, but in the beginning, Shereé played coy, simply stating, "Martell and I are still friends, absolutely."
Andy and Shereé's fellow WWHL guest, RHOA alum Porsha Williams, weren't buying it, though. "We're friends! We've always been friends," Shereé added, also noting that Martell "was actually gonna come" to the Bravo Clubhouse with her, but he couldn't because he was "taping" his show.
Zeroing in on the "friends" comment, Porsha then asked, "With benefits?"
Shereé simply laughed, playfully responding, "Shut up."
Added Andy, " Shereé came skipping in here tonight, so yeah, something's happening."
Shereé's Thoughts on Martell DM'ing Kenya Moore
Fans may recall Sanya Richards-Ross threw her husband, Aaron Ross, a Harlem Nights-themed birthday party on May 7's RHOA Season 15 premiere, and it was there that Kenya Moore dropped a bombshell on Shereé: Martell had apparently DM'd Kenya on Instagram at one point in time. There was no telling what his message to Kenya said, though, because it had been unsent.
Naturally, Shereé wasn't thrilled, and when asked on WWHL if she felt "ambushed by Kenya bringing up Martell's years-old DM to her," she responded, "Absolutely."
"Because [Kenya] was constantly asking, 'How's Martell?' or 'How are you guys doing?' and she never once said anything about a DM," Shereé added, also noting that Martell "felt really bad" about the entire situation.
More Details on Shereé and Martell
Shereé didn't say much else about Martell on WWHL, but she's been relatively open about their dynamic this season on RHOA. As she explained on the Season 15 premiere, “I met Martell through a mutual friend. He’s on a reality show, and we really enjoy each other’s company. Despite what you see on TV, he’s never shown me anything but respect.”
The only problem? “Martell lives in Huntsville, Alabama,” Shereé said, “but I would love for Martell to move closer.”
Distance aside, Shereé added that she’s just “really happy” that she “didn’t give up on love” when her years-long on-and-off relationship with Tyrone Gilliams came to an end while she was filming RHOA Season 14.
