Shereé Whitfield Reveals Son Kairo's Big Post-College Plans
Find out what's next for the RHOA alum's model son.
As fans might recall, back in Season 9 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Shereé Whitfield's son, Kairo Whitfield, was pursuing a career in modeling. Since Shereé is no longer living her life in front of RHOA cameras, fans might be wondering if her son is still posing in front of the camera. Well, we have the scoop from his mama herself.
Shereé, who is also a mom to two daughters, Tierra Fuller and Kaleigh Whitfield, confirmed on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen: @ Home on Sunday (May 10) that Kairo is no longer looking to go into modeling and recently graduated from Morehouse College (shout out to the class of 2020!). But he is still looking at another aspect of show business as a career path, which you can hear her explain in the video above.
When speaking to The Daily Dish in 2018, Shereé noted how multifaceted he is: "It didn't seem like it was that long ago that we were on TV, so when I see the playbacks of the kids on the show, they look like they were tiny. So now you have this huge 6'5'', 6'6'' guy, super handsome — he's his mom's son, but I'm super proud of Kairo... He's excelling in school, and he's a student athlete."
In the past, Kairo had been gaining experience as a model, which was a career prospect that definitely surprised his mama.
"I've gotten some interest in him for acting. So acting and modeling," Shereé shared with The Daily Dish in 2018. "I never thought I would ever see Kairo, 'cause he's always been the quiet one, wanting to or even entertaining the idea of modeling and acting. So it's him coming into his own and I'm happy for him, super proud of him."
