"I just want you guys to know that it is no joke," said The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum.
Shereé Whitfield has just shared the news that she has tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19). The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum opened up about her experience with the virus after receiving a diagnosis.
“Hey guys, just checking in. I know I have been M.I.A. I tested positive for COVID-19. And, so, I’ve kind of really just been at home, self quarantining for the past week and a half, and I just want you guys to know that it is no joke,” Shereé explained in a video she posted to Instagram on July 14.
Shereé continued with an update on how she is currently doing.
“I’m feeling much better today, and thank you for everybody who knew they had not heard from me and just reached out. If I have not reached back out, I will, I just have been out of it,” she said. “I’ll post something after this to give anybody, if you have any questions or you want to know what some of my symptoms were. Thank you guys, and take care and be safe.”
Shereé’s news was met with kind words of support from her friends and followers in the comment section of the post, including The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Cynthia Bailey, who wrote, “Oh no! Wishing you a speedy recovery.”
The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Gizelle Bryant also shared some love, writing, “Glad you’re feeling better!”
