It was Season 2 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta that Sheree Whitfield uttered those now-iconic words: "Who gon' check me, boo?"

After six seasons, one clothing line, and a Chateau on the way, Sheree remembers the phrase that turned her into a phenomenon and inspired a slew of swag. But does she remember exactly what started the spat with her now-infamous party planner, Anthony Shorter"The party planner wasn’t doing what he was supposed to be doing. He was saying things, promising things, and saying, 'I can’t do that, but I can do this' and I’m thinking, 'Well, you promised this' so that meeting was actually about me going to sever ties with him and it kind of went left," she explained to The Daily Dish. "And after a while, we were going back and forth and he said something like, 'You better watch yourself before you get checked.' And just out of nowhere I’m like, 'Who gon' check me, boo?' and it just went viral." As any RHOA superfan knows, this fued changed Housewives history — and party planning standards — forever. "That was my authentic [response] like, 'Watch myself before I get checked? Who in this room is gonna check me?' That was my thought," she said.

These days, Sheree has moved onto different, more experienced party planners — "I have not seen that man or spoken to him since that day. [I would] absolutely not [recommend his services]" — but she doesn't mind fans quoting her popular phrase back to her. In fact, she's extremely humbled by her influence, and the fact that said Season 2 moment has held up over time. "Here we are, six seasons later, and I’m still walking down the street and people say, 'Who gon' check me, boo?' or they’re hashtagging it, or they say, 'I had a who gon' check me boo moment,'" she explained. "I never in my wildest dreams thought that would be such a huge thing that people would still love it."

And in true Sheree fashion, she has a very strong opinion on the topic of Housewives quotes. So does she have a favorite? "Other than my own? No. I have the best one."

But, really, who can blame her?
