Sonja Morgan's Secret to Cool Summer Style

Looking for some style inspiration? Well then you need to look no further than Real Housewives of New York star Sonja Morgan.

The Sonja Morgan New York designer has revealed the pieces she thinks you should own this season in order to always look put together and on point. "Well, you know, leopard is my neutral," she tells the Daily Dish. "I love animal skins, even when it comes to swimwear. I have some animal skins in my swimwear line."

The New Yorker also values the classics. "Black is always important," she adds. "And I like blondie, beige, and red. That's a must for the summer. Well they are colors you can wear year round, which I also have in my collection." 

But if you want to see Sonja in any of those looks, you might want to score an invite to her house — that's where she'll be spending a lot of her off time this summer.

"In the summer, honestly, [I like to go to] my balcony, my garden," she says. "That's one of the reasons I live in a beautiful townhouse is because I can go outside right in my backyard and we barbecue, my daughter and I."

However, she has been spotted in the wild wearing her own designs. She recently sported one of her looks to the amfAR Inspiration gala.
