Tom Schwartz's girlfriend Sophia is 23 years old, although he recently stated she's "about to turn 24." Schwartz, meanwhile, is 41.

How does Tom Schwartz feel about his age gap with Sophia Skoro?
Schwartz was asked about the "age gap" between him and Sophia on the April 16 episode of the Viall Files podcast, to which Schwartz replied, "Honestly, if I was a lecherous old man trolling bars, like, seeking out young women, I think that would feel gross. But we just kind of bumped into each other. We hit it off."
That said, Schwartz admitted he "get[s] defensive" when he sees negative comments about his age gap with Sophia. "I don't like when they strip away a woman's agency," he said.
Sophia, for her part, doesn't appear to be bothered by the age gap either. She appeared on the same podcast episode as Tom Schwartz, during which host Nick Viall — who's fiancée (and co-host) Natalie is also younger than him — said, "You know, when you get to our age in life, sometimes you worry if you're ever going to find the thing that you're looking for, and then you meet some lovely people and you just feel a little lighter."
Natalie then said to Sophia, "Look what we've done to these men," prompting Sophia to joke, "No, look what the age gap has done to them."
How did Tom Schwartz and Sophia Skoro meet?
Sophia said she made the first move after spotting Schwartz at Tom Tom during summer 2023. "I was like, 'He's looking hot,' so I just told him," Sophia recalled on Nick's podcast. "I simply just told him, and that was it."
Sophia and Schwartz talked, but he got so "nervous" that he left Tom Tom. "I was with Kyle Chan and I told him, 'I just met the most beautiful human being I've ever laid eyes on,' but I had no intentions of going back," Schwartz recalled. "And Kyle literally dragged me back to Tom Tom."
Schwartz and Sophia then reunited and exchanged numbers. After that, "[I] walked out," Sophia said, "and then he called me as I was walking out and he was like, 'Can you please come back?' and so I came back."

The couple went on to explain that while they met last summer, they didn't immediately begin dating. As Schwartz put it, "We didn't hang out for a few months ... We exchanged numbers but we never really hung out for a while."
"Once we went on a dinner date," Sophia added, "You couldn't get away from me."
Schwartz further clarified the timeline of his relationship with Sophia on the April 16 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. More specifically, he said they've been dating for five months.
