Kathryn Dennis Responds to James Kennedy’s Recent Comments About the Southern Charm Cast

Drama is still coming out of the BravoCon 2022 weekend. After Vanderpump Rules’ James Kennedy reportedly made some comments about the Southern Charm cast, Kathryn Dennis now has a message for the DJ.

But first, let’s remind you of the drama.

As you might recall, on the October 20 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Andy Cohen reminded James that he was overheard “saying that you did not think that there were any ‘pretty girls’ on Southern Charm... DJ James Kennedy, you have the floor,” prompting him to address the reported comments he allegedly made about the cast.

“First of all, I was mistaken by shows, because obviously there’s a lot of pretty girls on [Southern Charm],” James said during the WWHL episode, filmed at BravoCon, without clarifying which show he actually meant (“I don’t remember”). He added, “I take it back, too.”

During the WWHL episode, Venita Aspen responded to the comment: “I’m very disappointed.”

Well, cut to Halloween weekend and the comments were still on Kathryn’s mind. She posted a photo of herself all dressed up for spooky season alongside Taylor Ann Green and Olivia Flowers, captioning the photo of the trio in sexy costumes: “Goth for the first time since [seventh] grade. More importantly, the [three] of us are single at the same time, for the first time. Eat your heart out [James Kennedy].”

Kathryn, Olivia, and Kathryn are, in fact, single after sharing their romantic ups and downs during Season 8 of Southern Charm. But right now it looks like they’re all about girls’ nights and not date nights.
