Leva Bonaparte Reveals Who Makes Her “Giggle” “Whenever Things Get Weird” on Southern Charm

Yes, Southern Charm matriarch Patricia Altschul knew the formal wedding she threw for her dog, Peaches, and Shep Rose’s dog, Lil Craig, was “silly,” but that certainly didn’t stop her. From multiple cakes, a doggy wedding gown, and a full reception, no expense was spared for the event featured in the August 11 episode. Amused by the spectacle, attendee Leva Bonaparte, for one, was glad she had a certain fellow cast member by her side to share a few laughs.
Ahead of Thursday’s episode, Leva shared on Instagram a series of behind-the-scenes photos and videos from Southern Charm’s “[glamorous] dog wedding” so that her followers could join in on the fun too. “Whenever things get weird [I] can count on my girl [Naomie Olindo] to giggle with me!” she captioned her August 10 post, in part, first including a selfie taken with Naomie and Venita Aspen.
In two subsequent clips, the belly laughs really started rolling when Leva recorded Naomie dancing like a salamander on her way to the bathroom, post-ceremony. Though Leva warned her friend to be careful, she joked in the second clip that Naomie fell — off camera — but was “still going.” Naomie shook it off, but still feigned lower back pain while seemingly mouthing an expletive.
It all seemed to be in good fun though. “I love you my Lu!!!” Naomie commented, adding three tears of joy emojis. Using the same trio of symbols, Leva wrote “love you” in a reply.
Other behind-the-scenes moments included clips of groomsman Austen Kroll petting a leashed Lil Craig at the altar, as well as one of him beginning his walk down the aisle while an electric guitar riffed in the background. “Naomie, what’s happening?” Leva asked in her final video, just as the nuptials were beginning.
