Southern Charm New Orleans' Reagan Charleston Welcomes Her Second Child

There's a new bundle of joy in the Big Easy! Southern Charm New Orleans' Reagan Charleston has welcomed her second child.

Reagan confirmed the happy news in a post on Instagram on August 24, confirming son Rexford Vance Thomas' arrival at 8 pounds, 12.5 ounces and 19.5 inches long. "We are head over heels in love with our big, beautiful baby boy Rex," Reagan gushed in the caption to the post. "Thank you for all of the warm wishes, from the bottoms of our hearts."

The Instagram post featured several photos of Reagan and husband Reece Thomas in the hospital with their new baby boy, along with Reagan's sister, Reina.

Reagan received an outpouring of congratulations from her fellow Bravo moms in the comments section of her Instagram post, including, of course, her Southern Charm New Orleans castmate and BFF Tamica Lee, as well as Karen Huger, Stephanie Hollman, Patricia Altschul, and Ashley Darby.

This is the second child for Reagan and Reece, who fans saw wed in the Southern Charm New Orleans Season 2 finale, which took place in December 2018. They previously welcomed daughter Reece Ellis Thomas in June 2019.

Reagan has kept fans updated on her second pregnancy every step of the way on Instagram, such as commemorating the "last minutes as [a] family of 3" as she prepared to give birth to her son.

A little more than a week before Reagan became a mom of two, she celebrated her 34th birthday on August 16, posting a photo of herself in her birthday suit with her baby bump proudly on display. "I’ve never felt more comfortable in my own skin and body than I do when I am creating life," Reagan wrote in the caption to the photo. "Being pregnant leaves me in total awe of the female body. We women are magic!"

Reagan continued, sharing of her and her husband, "We both gained a newfound respect for the female body when I became pregnant with Reecie. This pregnancy is no exception. My growing, stretching, changing body is housing a new life. I am blessed by this body and I find this beautiful and sacred experience empowering. I highly recommend any pregnant woman book an art photography maternity shoot to commemorate the miracle of pregnancy. Partners/family members— these also make the most amazing gifts for a mommy-to-be. Thank you for all of the birthday wishes! 34 feels pretty fantastic."

This month has been pretty major for the Southern Charm New Orleans family. Daughter Reece also experienced her first day of school earlier in August. "Apple of my eye. First day of school success!" Reagan said of her 2-year-old's big day on Instagram on August 9. "Have to admit— I only moped for about an hour before I really started to enjoy my freedom."
