Here’s What You Won't See on the Southern Charm Season 8 Reunion

By Allison Crist

Southern Charm's Season 8 reunion kicked off Thursday evening, but it turns out there are several behind-the-scenes moments and revelations that fans didn't see.

How to Watch

Watch Southern Charm on Peacock and the Bravo App.

Luckily, we're uncovering them now—including what Shep Rose had to say about possibly spending some time outside of South Carolina. "I might be taking a little break from Charleston," he explained. "Nothing crazy—not selling my house or anything—just taking a little time away. And that's my thought right now."

Had his fellow cast members known that, they might not have answered host Andy Cohen's question the way they did. Asked which Southern Charm couple everyone could see getting back together, most of the cast answered Shep and his ex Taylor Ann Green. As Craig Conover put it, "I would say they have the best chance."

While getting ready for the reunion alongside Shep and Austen Kroll, Craig himself had joked, "It's just a little funny to get all dressed up to go hang out with ex-girlfriends...I'm sure it's gonna be very civil and pleasant."

That might make it seem like Craig wasn't eager to take the stage for the two-part special, but he actually described  the annual reunion taping as "the worst and best day of the year."

Added Austen, "I can't tell if Craig hates it or loves it, because he just got some music going and now he's like, 'Someone's gonna die.'"

Olivia Flowers, meanwhile, just wanted to make it through the reunion—her first as a full-time Southern Charm cast member—as well as announce some exciting news: She no longer lives with her parents! "I'm at my parents' house," Olivia said, "but my parents aren't there anymore, so they can't make fun of me still."

Hear more from Olivia and the rest of the Southern Charm cast in the above clip.
