Did You Know That Shep Rose and Hannah Ferrier Are Friends?

Plus, the Below Deck Med alum reveals how motherhood has changed the holidays for her.

When Southern Charm’s Shep Rose jetted down under, Below Deck Mediterranean alum Hannah Ferrier was one of the first friends he spent time with. Even better: They were joined by a very special guest.

“Great seeing my friend [Hannah] and meeting little Ava in Sydney today,” Shep captioned a recent post in his Instagram Stories, showing him with Hannah and her 2-year-old daughter. “What a beautiful city and people.”

In addition to posing by the water with the iconic Sydney Opera House in the background, the trio stopped by a local eatery, as seen in another IG Story photo Shep shared.

As it turns out, the Southern Charm cast member even discovered he has a little something in common with Hannah’s toddler. "Believe me when I tell you Ava is a wild child. We got her to be still for [two] seconds before she tried to run into the street!” he captioned the latter post, adding, “I was the same way. [Hannah] says she was too.”

Hannah’s life has certainly changed course since becoming a mom, particularly when the holiday season approaches. “Christmas is definitely my favourite time of the year since Ava arrived,” she shared in the caption of a sweet Instagram photo with her little girl on December 6.

Though it’s unclear whether Shep will join the duo for the holidays, he will be celebrating Christmas in Australia. For his trip to the Southern Hemisphere, he explained he would be there “for a few weeks” before heading to Cape Town, South Africa, for a wedding sometime around New Year’s. What’s more, fellow Southern Charm-er Austen Kroll will be joining him during the second week.

“I always had a strange premonition that I might have some Australian blood in me,” he captioned a December 3 Instagram video, explaining the reason for his trip. “All the markers are there. I love beer, surfing, irrational claims laced with hyperbole, and good old fashion mischief. So I’m taking a sojourn to the hypothetical motherland.”
