Star Jones: NeNe isn't on my Level

We have yet to witness the full-on enemification of Star Jones and NeNe Leakes on Celebrity Apprentice, but the built-up started brewing long before the new season launched just over two weeks ago. Their ongoing feud entered another round this week, this time over scholastic achievement.

According to NeNe, Star isn't a fan of being in a competition with someone who isn't as academically gifted. "Star may have gone to Harvard," she told Zap2It, "She may have ten degrees, but it's funny she's in the same place I'm in. And that's what bothers Star-- that she went to school for eight to ten years and has to stand beside me."

And of course, Star responded, making it pretty clear to Daytime Confidential that she didn't consider being on the same show as NeNe a reflection of her past or future achievements. "No, no no. We're not on the same level. Let's make that clear. We're on the same show." Ouch. She then went on to explain that she doesn't make it a point to compare or belittle others in order to help herself. "In all honesty, I would never compare myself to another African-American woman. I would never tear down another African-American woman to elevate myself. Cream rises to the top and water seeks its own level."
