According to the New York Post, Steve will be the home’s sole broker and intends to list the property for $10.8 million — an $850,000 increase from what he listed it for in late 2021. Although the previous listing garnered an offer, Steve decided he wasn't quite ready to leave the unit and ultimately pulled it off the market.
The Corcoran Group agent first laid eyes on the loft about five years ago, when he met with its previous owner, Sean Kelly. Steve told Architectural Digest he was initially interested in selling the 3,400-square-foot penthouse, but immediately fell in love with its “incredible bones and proportions.”
“As I left, I ended up saying, ‘I’m happy to sell it for you, but I’ll also buy it from you,’” he recalled.

After purchasing the co-op for a reported $4.5 million, Steve began a $2.5 million gut renovation, which included luxurious finishes and the addition of high-end fixtures. The home, which sits inside a 1920s five-story building, features three bedrooms, 3.5 baths, hardwood floors, exposed cast-iron beams, 11-foot ceilings, five skylights, and custom Venetian plasterwork by Benjamin Lai.
Is Steve Gold leaving NYC?
Although Steve owns an estate in Greenwich, Connecticut, he told the New York Post he has no plans to leave the Big Apple.
“That was an investment property,” he said about the $7.3 million Greenwich home. “We are staying in the city.”
The real estate agent said he has yet to find his family’s new home but is eyeing the One High Line building in West Chelsea. The luxury condominiums offer next-level amenities, including a private pool, exercise room, and concierge services.

Steve and Luiza met in 2018 during a flight to London. The two began dating shortly after and welcomed their first daughter, Rose Gold, the following year.
“I couldn’t expect falling in love with someone from another country, moving in together, having our little family,” Steve said in a 2019 interview with Us Weekly. “I think I’m more myself with her than I am by myself, if that makes sense. I become who I used to be as a kid, more fun-loving.”
On April 30, the happy couple announced their family was expanding by one.
“Won’t be seeing just the three of us in these [photos] too much longer!” Steve captioned an Instagram Reel, which included memorable family moments. “Excited to share that our trio is gaining a new member. Luiza and I cannot be more elated and Rose can’t wait to be a big sister!”
