Kyle Cooke Apologizes to Girlfriend Amanda Batula: "This Was Not a Good Look for Me"
The Summer House roomie reveals "the worst part" of experiencing this intense moment with his girlfriend.
We are finally starting to understand why Kyle Cooke made that rule about no couples in the Summer House. Kyle's drama with girlfriend Amanda Batula came to a head in Monday night's episode of Summer House as the two argued about whether Kyle was partying too hard during the season, ending with Amanda bursting into tears.
Kyle reflected on the moment on Twitter Tuesday, sharing that it was not his finest hour. "This was not a good look for me - I’ll be the first to admit. And it was tough to watch," he tweeted. "The worst part? Seeing Amanda cry."
He went on to apologize for his actions and praise Amanda for always encouraging him to be his best self. "She’s always positive, carefree, easy going - she IS fun - but I pushed her to her limits, and who can blame her for wanting me to keep it together?" Kyle tweeted. "There’s no excuse for yelling at your girlfriend. Ever. And for that I’m sorry."
Kyle ended his series of tweets with a lovely sentiment about his future with Amanda. "I am trying to work on my flaws but also know and appreciate that she loves me for me, and I am so thankful she’s patient," he said.
Amanda also took to Twitter to explain to Summer House fans why she got so upset with Kyle in the episode. "To be clear, I know Kyle likes to drink and party. But this extremely drunk Kyle came out 2 years into the relationship. He used to hold it together a bit when he was trying to impress me," she tweeted. "I don’t want him to change, I want him to act like he cares enough to try."
Could there soon be two couples in the Summer House? Lindsay Hubbard has another heart-to-heart with her ex Everett Weston in next Monday's episode at 10/9c. Watch a preview, below.
