We Finally Know Why There Was So Much Tension Between Paige & Lindsay at the Summer House Reunion

Of all the beefs in Season 6 of Summer House, we certainly weren’t expecting there to be so much drama between Paige DeSorbo and Lindsay Hubbard at the reunion. But when the trailer for the sit-down was released last week, the tension between the two women was undeniable.

One moment in particular from the sneak peek above left fans scratching their heads. At one point, reunion host Andy Cohen points out to Paige, “But can I just say, you haven’t looked Lindsay in the eye once.” She responds, “No.”

As Part 1 of the Summer House Season 6 reunion kicked off on May 9, Paige didn’t appear to be on the friendliest terms with Lindsay or Carl Radke as the group looked back on the ups and downs of the season. That’s when Andy observed to Paige, “Your body language is wild.”

She explained that she didn’t feel like she had the warmest reception from the majority of the people sitting with her on the couch, which included Lindsay, Carl, and Danielle Olivera. “I feel awkward even being on this side, to be totally honest,” she said. “Like, nobody sitting on this side likes me except the two people on the end [Andrea Denver and Alex Wach].”

Even though Lindsay said that wasn’t true, Paige still felt “very uncomfortable” sitting next to her and her boyfriend. “I mean, Carl has been yelling at me the whole time. I’ve never had beef with Carl,” Paige said. “Like, he came at me very hard.”

“I didn’t come at her," Carl said under his breath.

That’s when Andy noted that Paige hadn’t looked Lindsay in the eye once since the reunion started, which Paige confirmed was on purpose. “Yeah, I’m just uncomfortable,” she said.

“Because I feel like there’s clearly a divide. There’s very much a divide in our group,” Paige continued. “When you come in as a new person, it is very hard to get into the group that was here first season. My first season, when I walked into the kitchen and I felt the energy between Lindsay, Danielle, and Amanda [Batula], it was stifling. There’s very much a hierarchy, and neither of them really talked to me. I naturally gravitated toward Amanda. And then as the seasons went on and I saw new girls coming in, it’s not really a coincidence that they always end up hanging out with us. They are very hard to approach.”

Lindsay, Carl, and Danielle did not respond to Paige’s claims at the reunion.

BravoTV.com caught up with the Summer House cast backstage at the reunion, and Paige and Lindsay were definitely among the names dropped of who would be in the hot seat during the taping. “I think Ciara [Miller]’s definitely in the hot seat. I think Paige as well. I’m sure Lindsay’s gonna feel like it at times," Carl says in the video below. “But I’m here to support her and be a helpful boyfriend. Also as a friend.”

Lindsay simply states, “I think a lot of people have a lot of explaining to do.”

Addressing the reunion on Instagram on May 9, Lindsay shared behind-the-scenes photos, along with the caption, “I’ll just give you guys the outfit/glam deets and we’ll let the reunion speak for itself!”

Paige opted to post a lighter moment in honor of the reunion in her recent Instagram Stories. She shared a TikTok originally posted by Amanda of the friends giving each other high fives throughout the season, which she wrote was her “favorite part of the entire summer.”
