Tamra Explains Why Gretchen Wasn't a Bridesmaid
The newlywed hints she did it to get back at her frenemy.
When Real Housewives of Orange County star Tamra Barney and husband Eddie Judge walked down the aisle in June, Heather Dubrow and Vicki Gunvalson served as bridesmaids.
It likely won't surprise fans that Gretchen Rossi was not asked to join the wedding party—the two have long had their ups-and-downs. But in a new interview with TV Guide, Tamra is speaking for the first time about why she didn't ask Gretchen to be a bridesmaid.

"We started in a bad place and then tried to put the past behind us, but she isolated herself," Tamra says of her relationship with Gretchen. Tamra may have also taken offense to not being included in a big moment in Gretchen's life. "She didn’t invite any of us when she proposed to Slade [Smiley], so why would I put her in my wedding?," says Tamra, adding of the snub, "She had no answers and tried to sugarcoat everything."
It seems Tamra, who planned her elaborate wedding in just five weeks, was only focused on the ceremony going smoothly. "I didn’t even realize how stressed-out I was! But on the actual day, I was so calm—just at ease and peaceful."
