Tamra Judge Shares an Update on Her Relationship with Her Eldest Daughter
Here's why The Real Housewives of Orange County mom is "very hopeful" about the future.
Tamra Judge has been open about the challenges of reconnecting with her eldest daughter this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County. She even seemed to be making some progress, revealing that her daughter had invited her to her high school graduation earlier this season.
Now five months later, Tamra shared during a recent interview with ET that there hasn't been "a whole lot of movement" when it comes to improving her relationship with her daughter. However, Tamra said that she remains "very hopeful," especially now that her daughter is away on her own in college. “She’s a good girl,” Tamra said. “I think we’re a lot alike … I know it’s gonna turn out really well.”
Tamra previously told The Daily Dish that she hadn't initially anticipated opening up about what's going on in her family this season of RHOC. "It's really something I've tried to protect. My daughter, of course, try to protect her, try not to talk about it too much, so it was a little unexpected because I have really no control over my emotions when it comes to that," she said of sharing the painful situation with Lydia McLaughlin earlier this season. "So it was nice because of the fact that I was surrounded by such amazing women that had so much compassion and it just really opened my eyes to a lot of things."
As for Tamra's relationship with her youngest daughter, she told ET that they're "like best friends." “She’s my mini me,” she shared. “It’s even hard for her to go to her dad’s house, just because she wants to be with me all the time. So, I just hope it stays like that. It’s hard, because divorce just brings out the worst in a family situation and the kids, really, get put in the middle.”
