Gina Kirschenheiter and Tamra Judge Spend Time Together: "You're the Best" Mom
Amid the news of her ex-husband Simon Barney's cancer diagnosis, Tamra is getting support from a RHOC pal.
Earlier this week, Tamra Judge's ex-husband, Simon Barney, revealed he has stage 3 throat cancer. Simon, who previously appeared on The Real Housewives of Orange County during his marriage to Tamra before divorcing in 2011, offered an optimistic outlook on his diagnosis, sharing, "Doctors have said I’m doing really well so far. They look at me and they go, ‘Man, you don’t look like you’re going through chemo.’ So that’s good, the prognosis is good."
Tamra shared that her family, which includes her and Simon's three children together, daughter Sidney, 21, son Spencer, 19, and daughter Sophia, 14, are rallying "together to make it through this" and that the cancer battle has actually brought the whole family closer together. “We wanted to find a way to get them through this the best way possible,” she told PEOPLE. “We were making sure that our kids are taken care of.”
And Tamra's mothering skills are definitely being appreciated by her RHOC friend, Gina Kirschenheiter. Tamra shared that the two recently played a game of tennis, writing on Instagram, "Tennis with [Gina Kirschenheiter]. She kicked my butt[.]"
Gina took the opportunity to compliment how Tamra has been handling everything, writing in the comments, "You’re the best! Mommom mom."
Tamra recently announced her departure from RHOC as a Housewife, but it's clear that these Orange County ladies are there for one another no matter what.
