Tamra Judge Reveals How Lydia McLaughlin Helped Her Feel Comfortable with Being Open About Her Faith
The #RHOC mom shares how the magazine exec changed her view on the subject.
Tamra Judge's commitment to her faith is something that she certainly hasn't kept a secret on The Real Housewives of Orange County. And just this season, fans were taken inside an emotional Bible study session, during which she opened up about her relationship with her estranged daughter. However, the SoCal mom does consider that side of her life more sacred, and therefore, she tries to keep it as private as possible. However, when Lydia McLaughlin came back on the scene, that changed things a bit for the OC fitness expert.
"Lydia’s back. Like you can’t say 'Lydia’s back' without doing, like, the Lydia shuffle. So she was a pleasant surprise to have back. Somebody with some positive attitude. Yeah, I feel like a lot of people, maybe cast members, past cast members, kinda bashed me for the baptism, and Lydia was one of the only cast members, ex-cast members at the time, that sent me a text message and was really excited," Tamra recently told The Daily Dish. "[And] just was really happy for me."
And with an equally-devoted Lydia by her side, Tamra feels less shy to be open about her spirituality. "What it really is something that is kind of private to me, and I kind of take it in all by myself or I try to. Try to do it all alone 'cause I don’t wanna be that person that’s, like, preaching and it’s just not my style," she said. "But I found out from hanging out with Lydia that it’s OK, it’s OK to talk about it. It’s OK to talk about your faith."
You can always check out Tamra, Lydia, and the crew every Monday at 9/8c on RHOC. Preview, below.
