Tamra Judge Is Recovering from an Intestinal Obstruction: Details on Her Health Scare

Tamra Judge is continuing to be open about her health issues, as she took to her Instagram Stories on Oct. 10 to share that she's dealing with an "intestinal obstruction."

Tamra Judge's Current Hospitalization
At the time when Tamra posted her first Instagram Story — a photo that showed her laying in a hospital bed with a tube up her nose and bandaged to her face — she was "praying" she wouldn't "need surgery."
Though unrelated to her health, Tamra also apologized to the listeners of her and Teddi Mellencamp's podcast, as she noted that she wouldn't be able to record a new episode due to her condition. "I'm so sad [Teddi]," Tamra wrote. "I miss you so much."
On a more positive note, Tamra's husband Eddie Judge was, of course, by her side. Not only that, but he could even be seen giving her a foot massage in another Instagram Story. Several of Tamra's friends also took to their own Stories to share messages of support, including her Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip castmate Dorinda Medley and her longtime bestie Vicki Gunvalson.
Tamra's best news came late into the night on Oct. 10, though, when she posted a mirror selfie in which she was rocking an adult diaper, or as she put it, "Pull Ups."
"Tube has been removed," Tamra captioned the pic, adding a red heart emoji and then revealing the reason for the Pull Up. "But the contrast did a number on me."
Tamra Judge's Past Health Issues and Explanation for Her Missing Belly Button
At one point, Tamra posted a different sort of Story after some of her followers had begun to falsely speculate about the cause of her health issues. "I've suffered from intestinal problems for years," she began. "I've had multiple surgeries in the past 12 years. Remember when you all made fun of me for not having a belly button[?] That was due to my emergency life-saving surgery. Part of my intestines were being strangled. My grandmother died of intestinal problems."
Tamra Judge's Past Life-Saving Surgery Explained
Tamra, as RHOC fans may recall, underwent the life-saving operation in 2012. She's since had several additional surgeries, including an abdominal one this past January.
“[I] went in for revision of a hernia surgery that I had 10 years ago," Tamra said in an Instagram Story at the time. "And I went in [and got] a little more than I bargained for. [Dr. Donald S. Mowlds] found another hernia and my upper stomach and my entire abdomen was covered in scar tissue. So he had to dissect all of that. So I’m in just a little bit of pain.”
Thankfully, Tamra also noted she was "in good hands" and tagged Eddie.
