Teresa Giudice and Caroline Manzo surprised literally everyone when, after years of animosity, they reunited for a Super Bowl commercial for hummus earlier this year.

If you wondered how and why it happened, Teresa reflected on the commercial and shared some secrets from what went down behind the scenes with the RHONJ alum during Part 2 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 10 reunion.

"I was like, 'Are you f--king kidding me?'" she said about the reaction to the prospect of working with her. "And then I figured it was a great opportunity, of course."

When Andy Cohen noted she "did it for the money," she didn't hesitate to answer: "Of course, yeah."

Teresa then offered up what went down between the two women before they even hit the commercial's set.

"No, she reached out to my lawyer, Jim. And Jim's like, 'Let's do a phone call with her.' And I'm like, 'I don't really want to f--king talk to her, Jim.' I'm like, are you kidding me? So we got on the phone three-way and we started talking — and then we get into it."

Teresa continued, "This is what she said: 'When we see each other, we are going to sit down and talk' — and I'm like, 'Excuse me.' I said, 'We're not doing anything.'"

Their reunion came not long after Teresa had questioned Caroline's role in her legal issues and called her a "rat."

In the RHONJ reunion episode that aired on March 11, Teresa shared, "Well, we didn't even talk about that. No, she didn't even bring that up... We were just talking about the season. I said, 'I'll be honest with you, I think you're a s--tty person.'"

The conversation got heated not about recent allegations, but instead about past events and former friendships from back in the day: "[At that time], it was all them against me. I thought she was a s--tty person for doing that."

In the end, it was best for them to just put the conversation aside for obvious reasons, according to Teresa. "I said, 'No matter what, you're going to think you're right and I'm going to think I'm right. So we're not ever going to get anywhere. Let's go do our job and be done with it.' And that's what we did."

Teresa then once again discussed whether she still thinks Caroline had anything to do with her past legal issues. "I don't [think] she would [call the authorities]. I don't know," Teresa said. "I said it the wrong way. I thought things that she said [brought attention]."
