See Teresa Giudice's Message for Her Daughters Amid "Disgraceful" Drama with Melissa & Joe Gorga
The RHONJ cast member revealed what she "beg[s]" her daughters not to do.
Teresa Giudice is hoping that history doesn't repeat itself when it comes to the family drama she has experienced with her brother, Joe Gorga, and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga.
While appearing on the July 31 episode of Let's Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, Teresa opened up about her rift with her brother and Melissa, and she revealed the advice she gave her daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana Giudice about staying close.
"First of all, to me, family is so sacred. Like, I'm all about The Godfather movie — you never go against the family," The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member said about why her drama with Melissa and Joe is so upsetting. "I live by that, like I stand by that, like I'm a loyal person."
After Teresa and Joe's parents, Antonia and Giacinto Gorga, passed away, the Turning the Tables podcast host said that it was difficult for her to stay on good terms with her brother.
"It would have been so beautiful for us to be a united front, and to show America and to show the world that instead of fighting," Teresa said regarding their fallout on Season 13. "Like, to me, this is disgraceful."
As a result, Teresa has asked her daughters to always remain close to one another.
"I tell my daughters, I beg my daughters, I'm like, 'Please always get along. That's the only thing I only ask for, is I want [you] four to always love each other, and if somebody has something more than the other, you guys enjoy it... You should all be happy for each other, and lift each other up,'" Teresa continued on Kelly Ripa's podcast. "That's how I look at things."
Does Melissa Gorga regret her rift with Teresa Giudice?
On the July 28 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Melissa revealed whether she feels any "guilt" about the demise of her and Joe's relationship with Teresa and her husband, Luis "Louie" Ruelas.
"I don't feel the pressure anymore to kinda accept things I didn't feel were right, or to keep moving forward with something that was at a complete dead end," she shared on WWHL. "Having zero guilt any longer and knowing I've done the right thing for as long as I could is definitely my rose."
