Nicole Napolitano Reveals Where Things Stand with Teresa Giudice Today

A lot has changed between the twins and Teresa since last season of #RHONJ.

The Twins Confront Teresa

The last season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey was especially rocky for Teresa Giudice, Nicole Napolitano, and Teresa Aprea, to say the least. Teresa G.'s involvement in the spreading of a rumor about the twins' mother as well as Teresa A.'s infamous "clink clink" comment didn't exactly foster a friendship among the ladies. Though the trio hashed it out and seemed to make peace during the last RHONJ season finale, there was still some lingering tension between them at the reunion.

So will these three ever get along? Well, it looks like that dream has indeed become a reality as their friendship took off after the cameras stopped rolling. "You know what? We actually became friends right afterwards. So right after the reunion, everything was amazing," Nicole explained when The Daily Dish caught up with her at a party celebrating Teresa G.'s new memoir Wednesday night. "Unfortunately, the public didn't get to see that, but for us, once the show ended, we all made everything right, the way it should've been from the beginning. When you film, there's a lot of drama, and there's a lot of tension, and so much is going on, and you're so exhausted from filming that every choice and decision sometimes aren't the ones that you would make from the beginning. So I'm glad where it all ended up and where we all are today, so I'm happy about that."

These days, Nicole often keeps in touch with Teresa G. and her family. "[This] is the first time that I've seen her [since her release from prison]. We spoke, we text, I've been in contact with the girls. Rino's [Teresa A.'s husband] been in contact with Joe [Giudice] a lot and seen him, of course, but it's the first time that I'm actually seeing her without talking or texting. So it's great. She looks fabulous. She looks amazing," she said.

In fact, the first thing Teresa G. ate after she got out of prison was lobster from Rino's restaurant, Angelo's of Mulberry Street, as she revealed during her Watch What Happens Live one-on-one with Andy Cohen last week. "Yes, yes! That was the first meal. She had delicious food when she came home," Nicole said.

Teresa G. also thanked Nicole, Teresa A., and Rino in the acknowledgments section of her new book Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again. "To my fellow Housewives who reached out and were there for me: Lisa Vanderpump, NeNe Leakes, Dorinda Medley, Jill Zarin, Teresa and Rino Aprea, and Nicole Napolitano: I want to thank all of you for your support. It means so much to me," she wrote.

Nicole said she hadn't read Teresa G.'s book yet, but she plans on doing so soon. "I'm getting it tonight, and I'm bringing it home," she said "Everyone said she's said such positive things, so I'm really looking forward to reading it and seeing her perspective and what her last year was like, you know, what she's gone through. It was really a tumultuous year for her. So I'm very excited about reading her book."

Nicole added, "We're here tonight just to support Teresa. We're so happy that she's out and about and back with her family and a New York Times bestseller. So we're just really happy to be here tonight to share in this special evening."
