Teresa Giudice: 'One Day the Truth Will Come Out'
How the Jersey Housewife and Joe are coping with their upcoming fraud trial.
Teresa Giudice's legal problems are no joking matter. She and her husband Joe could face up to 50 years of jail time for their 39 charges of felony tax fraud and evasion. Now, she's opening up to Star Magazine and reveals that the situation "is beyond frustrating, and yet I know one day the truth will come out."
The mom of four is channeling the power of positivity in order to keep herself centered. "I just focus on what I need to do and stay positive," she says, before divulging how her husband is dealing with their upcoming court dates. "Joe is always an optimist, but he realizes this is a serious situation. He looks forward to his day in court. He wants to move forward, and his only concern is for our family," she says.
As for whether her children understand the magnitude of the legal situation, Teresa says her little girls aren't totally aware. "Gia knows a bit," she says, "But she is only concerned that we love her, and we always tell her we love her. If she has more questions, I will answer them."
In the meantime, Teresa and Joe are doing their best to keep life normal for their kids. "I take the kids to school, and then I go to the gym," she says, describing an average day. "I try to be home at 3 or most of the afternoon for my kids and prepare dinner. Joe and I think eating together as a family is important and we try to do it every night."
One upside to the Giudice's legal situation: she admits their struggle has only made their marriage stronger. "This has made us really focus and be grateful for what we have."
