Teresa Giudice Visits Italian Consulate Before Reuniting with Husband Joe Giudice
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom prepares to see her husband in Italy this month.
Teresa Giudice is getting ready to visit husband Joe Giudice in Italy.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey author stopped by the Consulate General of Italy in New York City on Tuesday, November 5, according to her recent Instagram Story. Teresa shared two photos from her visit to the building, including one showing a 9/11 memorial with an Italian flag beside it and another featuring a spiral staircase.
Teresa confirmed during her October 27 interview with Andy Cohen that she would soon be visiting Joe in Italy with their four daughters, Gia, 18, Gabriella, 15, Milania, 13, and Audriana. The reunion will be filmed for RHONJ.
Joe has been in Italy since he was released from ICE custody on October 11 after his request to await a final decision in his ongoing deportation case overseas was granted. He has been staying at his grandmother's home in Sala Consilina and spending time with his family, including his father-in-law, Giacinto Gorga, who flew to Italy to see Joe ahead of Teresa and his granddaughters.
The RHONJ husband has been documenting his time in Italy on Instagram after officially joining the photo-sharing platform on October 31. Joe has been breaking bread with loves ones, dancing, and even trying out the Italian fashion.
Teresa and Joe have expressed uncertainty about the future of their marriage. However, they are both waiting to see what happens when they are reunited in Italy. "We're both two different people now. I don't know, I'm not the same Teresa I was, and I know he's not the same Joe," Teresa shared during the couple's interview with Andy last month. "Like I told him, no matter what, I always want us to respect each other and I do love him as a person. I'll start crying because I do, I care about him, I love him, I don't know how I'll feel when I see him."
Joe agreed during that conversation "that we'll see" when it comes to the fate of his relationship with Teresa. "She's my wife, and I've been with her for a long time. I've known her since she was a kid, a little baby actually, so I mean, of course, yeah, I'll always love her," he said. "No matter what happens, I'll always love her."
Joe gave his first statement following his release from ICE custody to The Daily Dish, which you can view, above. He opens up more about his journey to Italy, below.
