Teresa Giudice's First Hours at Home Included "Tons of Laughs, Tears, and Overwhelming Joy"
Get the scoop on how the #RHONJ mom was welcomed by her family after her release from prison.
Shortly after 7 AM on December 23, Teresa Giudice arrived at her Montville, NJ home, after being released from the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, Conn. at 5:01 AM. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom was greeted by her four daughters and her husband, Joe Giudice, after serving nearly a year in jail in connection with multiple counts of fraud. Upon arriving home, Teresa "shared a beautiful and emotional moment" with "tons of laughs, tears, and overwhelming joy," a source close to the family tells The Daily Dish.
And with Christmas Eve just one day away, the Giudices were already in celebration mode as they gathered to take a selfie, marking their first photo together since Teresa's release, the source adds. After the photo, Teresa took a tour of her home to see how much it had changed since she entered jail on January 5 of this year. And the insider shared that Teresa even had a big announcement for her family, telling her daughters, "We will be going to church every Sunday." Following the tour, Joe cooked breakfast for Teresa and the girls. Teresa was then back in mommy mode, getting in some relaxing time with Audriana and Milania, another source added.
As for her holiday plans, Teresa, Joe and their daughters will head to brother Joe Gorga's house to celebrate Christmas Eve together. She will be under home confinement from December 23 through February 5, 2016.
